Chassis Works was started by Jim Dorsey in 1997. Jim has over 20 years of experience as an Electronics Packaging Engineer. Prior to founding Chassis Works he was employed by Codex/Motorola, Prime Computer, Bytex Corp, and Cascade Communications where he was responsible for the design of the B-STDX 9000 and the Cascade 500, both NEBS compliant products. He also served as the manager of Cascade's Power and Packaging group. He is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Chassis Works does not rely on a large in house staff but instead utilizes the talents of other consultants and companies to provide services required by the customer for their particular program. This permits us to use some of the best people in the industry to provide those services. It also allows us to keep our overhead costs low, which, in turn allows us to pass those savings on to our customers.
